Dylan and his family are struggling to keep their small petrol station in the Welsh town of Manod afloat as the population gets so small that he is crowed the title of ‘the last boy in Manod’! After strange events involving the old quarry and some mysterious men turning up in white vans, will he be able to save his small business from closing down?

Framed sounds like it has a boring plot but once you get into the book, it is hilarious and clever. Lots of different things happen so you may think that is near the end of the book but the another big thing happens. It is quite quick to read but that’s probaly because I couldn’t put it down!

I would recommend this book to people who want to start reading slightly longer books but don’t want too much of a challenge and art and car lovers. It is also good for 10-14 year olds as it isn’t very grown up or rude but older teenagers would also enjoy it. I love the plot and style of this book and would give it **** because I would love it if it was a little longer or had some kind of sequel.
